Located near the Tampa Bay Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant, Tampa Bay Water’s High Service Pump Station has been in service since August 2002 and can pump up to 110 million gallons of water per day (mgd) to the regional system.
This project replaces chemical piping, pumps, tanks and chemical injection points at the pump station.
This project will improve the pump station’s reliability and maintain the overall quality of the water coming from the surface water plant and the desalination facility to the regional system by replacing aging materials.
Total cost for design and construction is $1.5 million.
The High Service Pump Station is located in Hillsborough Couty, adjacent to the Tampa Bay Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant.
This project is scheduled to be completed by November 2024.
This project has no public impact as all work is contained within Tampa Bay Water property.
