PURPOSE: Steering Committee Meeting for the Integrated Hydrologic Model (IHM) and the Integrated Northern Tampa Bay (INTB) Model
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED:
The IHM-INTB Steering Committee will conduct a public meeting to finalize their recommendations for the IHM-INTB Five Year Roadmap. The roadmap includes recommended activities over a five-year time span that support the IHM, the INTB model, and user support for both models.
The IHM and INTB models are used to help water managers make decisions about regional water supply by studying how rainfall and anthropogenic actions influence the flow of water in the surface water system and the groundwater system, and how changes in one of those systems influences the other. The models are a collaborative effort between Tampa Bay Water and the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The Steering Committee provides recommendations regarding maintenance and improvements for the IHM and the INTB model to management and executive staff and the Board of Directors of the Agencies.
