Everyone has a role to play in conserving our drinking water resources. To help our region conserve water, Tampa Bay Water is partnering with our member governments and the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Tampa Bay Water Wise, a regional water conservation program that offers rebates to residents, commercial property owners, contractors and builders who take proactive steps to reduce water use and demand on the region’s water supply. It’s never been easier to conserve water and save money in the process.
Water demand projections show the Tampa Bay region will need an additional 10 million gallons of drinking water per day by 2028. Conservation can reduce water demands and delay the need for Tampa Bay Water to build new water supplies.
Tampa Bay Water Wise is designed to save up to 11 million gallons per day by 2030 at less than a quarter of the cost of our least expensive new water supply option, which is expanding the surface water plant.
Regional conservation benefits everyone, helping to keep the wholesale water rate as low as possible for all of Tampa Bay Water’s members. We all win when we’re water wise!
Residents, commercial property owners, contractors and builders in the following communities may qualify for Tampa Bay Water Wise rebates:
RESIDENTIAL REBATES
COMMERCIAL REBATES
REBATES FOR BUILDERS
This program is cooperatively funded using block grants from the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
