Technology plays an integral part in reliably providing clean, high-quality drinking water to the six member governments and more than 2.6 million residents Tampa Bay Water serves. Tampa Bay Water’s Information Technology Renewal and Replacement Program ensures our systems run reliably and efficiently.
This project replaces end of life information technology infrastructure, including servers, uninterrupted power supplies and firewalls, at the utility’s Cypress Creek and Clearwater data centers.
Replacing hardware that has reached the end of its useful life improves system efficiency and reliability.
The budget for the project is approximately $1.37 million.
Implementation is anticipated to be completed by September 2026.
This project has no public impact as all work is contained within Tampa Bay Water property.
