CLEARWATER, Fla. (October 10, 2024) — Tampa Bay Water needs residents to continue conserving water in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Widespread power outages have impacted some water supply facilities. Residents should continue conserving water and avoid all non-essential use to help maintain water supply to Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties, and cities of New Port Richey and St. Petersburg.

Tampa Bay Water continues to run critical facilities on generator power and is working with power providers to prioritize restoration efforts on critical water infrastructure. Utility maintenance staff are out working to bring more facilities online but are encountering flooding, debris, and downed trees and power lines. This slows down restoration efforts to ensure the safety of our essential workers.
