Why It Matters
When local groups step up, it makes a real difference. By investing in efforts that educate, restore and engage, we help conserve and protect water resources like wetlands, the Floridan Aquifer, the Hillsborough and Alafia rivers and the Tampa Bypass Canal. With 2.6 million people relying on these waters, community involvement isn’t just helpful, it’s essential.
