Which Costs the Least…Water, Milk or Coffee?

Even the cheapest cup of coffee can’t compete with the cost of a fresh, clean glass of drinking water. That’s because the wholesale rate for water is $2.56 per 1000 gallons – that is just two-tenths of a cent for a gallon of high-quality drinking water. What a deal!

And here’s some more good news. Tampa Bay Water recently announced that there would be NO rate increase for water for the fourth consecutive year.

While local governments must add to that charge to further disinfect, pump and deliver the water, drinking water remains a great value.  Need further proof? Just check out the graphic above.

About Tampa Bay Water

Tampa Bay Water supplies wholesale drinking water to Hillsborough County, Pasco County, Pinellas County, New Port Richey, St. Petersburg and Tampa. It supplies water to more than 2.3 million people through the governments it serves.
