Over the next several months, Tampa Bay Water will begin using Granicus government meeting technology for its board meeting agendas, minutes and public meetings. Granicus is a digital cloud platform used by many local governments to ensure public meetings run smoothly and ensure the process is open and transparent to the public.
Local governments, residents and businesses that access Tampa Bay Water’s agenda and minutes online will still have the same easy access to information through Tampa Bay Water’s website. Additionally, board meetings will continue to be shown online and will be archived online for future reference.
The system will allow electronic voting for board members, which will be implemented in 2020. Additionally, board members will be able to access agenda items and notes electronically at the dais.
