Tampa Bay Water Moves Forward on Brandon Booster Station

Several short- and long-term projects are underway to help address the need for more water in southern Hillsborough County. One short-term solution is the new Brandon Booster Station that will send an additional 5-7 million gallons of water per day to southern Hillsborough County.

At its December meeting, the Tampa Bay Water board awarded PCL Construction the construction manager-at-risk (CMAR) contract for the Brandon Booster Station project in the amount of $334,556 for pre-construction services. A CMAR is a delivery method that guarantees a project will be delivered within a maximum price and will help save time on the project.

Tampa Bay Water is currently gathering design input from nearby residents before finalizing the facility design.
