A Tampa Bay Water project was included in the State of Florida 2026/2027 budget that was approved and signed into law July 1. Tampa Bay Water will receive $500,000 toward its SCADA SecureOps project. This project strengthens the resilience and security of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system at the Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant by replacing hardware and software that has outlived its useful life with more robust, secure and reliable technology to protect against cyber and operational threats.
