Construction will begin in October or November on the South Hillsborough Pipeline, pending permit approvals. When construction begins, road closures and detours will affect daily commutes for Hillsborough County residents.
Construction over the next three years will take place simultaneously in multiple locations along the pipeline route. Tampa Bay Water wants to make sure residents along the route are kept informed. That’s why we are encouraging residents to sign up for email alerts by visiting SouthHillsboroughPipeline.com/contact. The project team will send out email alerts in advance of any road closures and detours. The project team will also keep residents informed through variable message boards and yard signs before construction begins.
