No Rate Increase for 2014-2015
Financial, | | Return

For the fourth consecutive year, Tampa Bay Water’s board of directors approved a budget with no rate increase. The board approved the 2014-2015 budget at its June meeting.

The wholesale rate for water will remain at $2.56 per 1000 gallons – that is just two-tenths of a cent for a gallon of high-quality drinking water. While local governments must add to that charge to further disinfect, pump and deliver the water, drinking water remains one of the greatest values in our world.  Need further proof? Just check out the graphic below.
