Make your application stand out: Tampa Bay Water’s Water Conservation and Protection Grants Program is accepting applications through Nov. 13, 2026. Applicants who schedule a consultation with the program administrator by Oct. 30, 2026, can receive early feedback, refine their proposals, and strengthen their submissions before the final deadline.
The Water Conservation and Protection Grant Program provides grant money to help fund projects and events by local community groups, nonprofit groups, schools and universities. Grants range from $2,000 to $10,000 for activities that help conserve water and protect regional drinking water sources and the ecosystem.
"It’s not uncommon for a brief grant consultation to make a good application a great one,” said Malique Rankin, public communications specialist and grant administrator for Tampa Bay Water. “A great grant proposal should outline a tangible community benefit for a conservation or source water protection activity that includes community involvement and education.”
