April is Water Conservation Month
Conservation, | | Return

Don’t be fooled by living in a state nearly surrounded by water — water is scarcer than you think. Florida springtime is usually dry and warm, and this year’s spring is expected to have below-normal precipitation and above-normal temperatures, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

To remind us to conserve water during this dry season, the state of Florida, water utilities, and conservation organizations designated April as Water Conservation Month. Tampa Bay Water and its member governments proclaim it as well.
