The Regional Repump Station moves up to 180 million gallons of water per day (mgd) to and from the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir and the Alafia River to the Tampa Bay Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant.
This project replaces an existing valve with a new 36-inch control valve.
Replacing this valve ensures raw surface water can be transferred to the surface water treatment plant.
Total cost for design and construction is $942,902.
This project is scheduled to be completed by October 2022.
This project has no public impact as all work is contained within Tampa Bay Water property.
