LITHIA, Fla. (August 31, 2020) - Tampa Bay Water is conducting a test of its emergency siren system at the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir on Wed., Sept. 2, at 9 a.m. To ensure that the sirens are effective in the unlikely event of an emergency, the sirens will sound at 9 a.m. and will include three to five short blasts lasting 10-20 seconds each. CLEARWATER, Fla. (August 10, 2020) – Community groups, non-profit organizations, schools and service organizations can receive a share of $30,000 for protecting the Tampa Bay area’s drinking water sources. The program is sponsored by Tampa Bay Water, the region’s drinking water provider, to help keep drinking water safe by preventing pollution, cleaning waterways and protecting watersheds.
