Tampa Bay Water to Test Emergency Notification Sirens at Reservoir on Wed., July 1, at 9 a.m.

LITHIA, Fla. (June 29, 2020) - Tampa Bay Water is conducting a test of its emergency siren system at the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir on Wed., July 1, at 9 a.m. To ensure that the sirens are effective in the unlikely event of an emergency, the sirens will sound at 9 a.m. and will include three to five short blasts lasting 10-20 seconds each. This is only a test.

Controlled Burns Scheduled for C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir

PICNIC and LITHIA, (June 26, 2020) – Tampa Bay Water will be conducting controlled, prescribed burns during the summer and fall months (June 2020 through November 2020) on the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir property. The parcels slated for controlled burns are on the mitigation and conservation areas surrounding the reservoir, east of Hobson-Simmons Road, south of Boyette Road, southeast of Browning Road and west of County Road 39.

CLEARWATER, Fla. (June 16, 2020) – Tampa Bay Water’s board of directors approved the utility’s 2021 fiscal year operating budget with no rate increase, maintaining a wholesale drinking water rate of $2.56 per 1,000 gallons for the tenth consecutive year.
