Tampa Bay Water to Test Emergency Notification Sirens at Reservoir on Thurs., January 2, at 9 a.m.

LITHIA, Fla. (December 31, 2019) - Tampa Bay Water is conducting a test of its emergency siren system at the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir on Thurs., January 2, at 9 a.m. To ensure that the sirens are effective in the unlikely event of an emergency, the sirens will sound at 9 a.m. and will include three to five short blasts lasting 10-20 seconds each. This is only a test.

CLEARWATER, Fla. (Dec. 16, 2019) — At its December board meeting, Tampa Bay Water awarded $25,500 in source water protection mini-grants to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Pinellas County Schools’ Journeys in Journalism program and the Coffee Pot Bayou Watershed Alliance for projects that help protect the region’s drinking water sources.
