WHAT IS SOURCE WATER PROTECTION GRANT
WHAT?
A source water protection grant funded by Tampa Bay Water is available to activities promoting source water protection and public awareness on a community level in the Tampa Bay Region.
HOW MUCH?
Tampa Bay Water will award grants from $500 to $5,000.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- Universities/Colleges
- Schools/Teachers/Students
- Non-profit groups
- Community groups
WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS WILL BE FUNDED?
- Development of source water protection activities, such as stream clean-ups, bank restoration and stabilization, and river and watershed conservation.
- Education and information activities and resources, such as training, seminars, workshops, exhibits, information materials, and school activities.
- Projects that address community concerns and reflect community values, such as best management practices implementation and awareness campaigns.
- Others, such as tree planting, festivals, and fairs.
WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?
