Our 132-person staff includes scientists, engineers, hydrologists, environmental analysts, planners, chemists, operations managers, water plant operators, bookkeepers, information systems specialists and more - all integral to performing our daily duty of water delivery and planning to meet future drinking water needs.

As the largest wholesale drinking water supplier in the southeastern United States, Tampa Bay Water ultimately provides water to more than 2.3 million people in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties and the cities of New Port Richey, St. Petersburg and Tampa. Water Quality Services Senior Manager

We are seeking a Water Quality Services Senior Manager. The Water Quality Services Senior Manager will lead and direct the operations and activities of the Laboratory Department and the Source Water Assessment Department. In addition, this position will provide assistance to Water Production operations and contract operations staff on all water quality related issues associated with the treatment and delivery of quality water. This position also facilitates agency research efforts related to water quality and treatment of potable water.

Demand Forecaster-Planner

We are seeking a Demand Forecaster/Planner. Under direction of the Planning & System Decision Support Manager performs functions of the agency involving short- and long-term water demand forecasting and analysis of water use, meteorological, and socio-economic data. The water demand planner/forecaster maintains and updates demand forecast databases, forecasting models, and participates in long-term water supply planning activities. This position also performs water use efficiency studies. Employees in this category have knowledge and understanding in the areas of time series modeling/forecasting, statistical analysis and interpretation, resource management, computer programming, uncertainty and risk analysis, and an advanced knowledge in utilizing relational databases and Geographic Information System for spatial-temporal data analysis and geocoding.

Chief Science & Technical Officer

Applications Architect


Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

We are seeking an Applications Architect. While under general supervision, this person performs professional and technical work in software architecture design, computer programming, systems analysis, database design and administration and project management for the Agency. Employees in this class have extensive knowledge of software application development life-cycle methodology and relational database systems, and are responsible for all technical duties inherent in developing, supporting and maintaining complex software applications. This is a highly technical position, but position will require interaction with various levels of staff members.
