Tampa Bay Water has released its 2020 Water Quality Report, or consumer confidence report, outlining the quality of the water the utility provides to its six member governments.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection require that all water utilities provide their customers with a water quality report annually. This report contains details about the region’s sources of drinking water, how it is treated, what it contains and how it compares to federal and state standards. This report is a snapshot of 2020 water quality.
We are pleased to once again report that the water Tampa Bay Water provides meets or is better than all federal and state drinking water quality requirements.
